Album design
In this Instagram age, it’s easy for our photos to live on our hard drives gathering digital dust long after the celebrations are over. The idea of doing something with them seems too daunting, especially when you have hundreds of photos to choose from in your gallery. So let me help you turn your photos into a tangible heirloom.
With over a decade of experience designing wedding and engagement albums, I'll carefully curate a story that feels true to you and also reflects my modern and minimalist style. And of course, this is your album, so you'll also be given revision rounds to make photo swaps or layout requests.

How It Works
After receiving the final design from me, all you need to do is send the layout files to your favorite printer and buy the album from them directly. With so many high quality straight-to-consumer photos albums available online, I don’t believe in reselling those same albums at a mark up. I want to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy your photos beyond the confines of a screen.
Step 1: Pick an album maker
Select an album printer of your choice and let me know the dimensions of the album you wish to design. (Artifact Uprising’s 10x10 Layflat Photo Album is my favorite. I also recommend Parabo Press, Social Print Studio, Blurb, Shutterfly and MPix.)
Step 2: Share your Favorites
Select around 150-200 photos for your design OR if you don’t know where to begin, let me choose them for you. (Knowing which group portraits you want to use is helpful!) If you’re a preexisting wedding couple of mine, just star your favorites on your online gallery. If your online gallery is no longer active or you have your own photos you wish to use, I’ll send a shared Dropbox folder link.
Step 3: design the first draft
I make the magic happen (AKA design the layout) while you wait. Turnaround time for the first draft design is 5-7 business days.
Step 4: Review design and submit changes
You’ll get an email with a link to view the album layout online. You can submit comments to make changes to the design such as adding, removing or swapping out photos. Drafts include three complimentary redesigns. If your album includes a custom photo cover, I can design that too.
Step 5: Send to Print!
Once you’ve approved the design, I’ll send you the album page layout files at the correct specifications for your album printer. All you have to do is complete your order directly with the album company of your choosing. (Don’t worry, I can walk you through the process if you’re not sure how.) And viola! You have your own heirloom album expertly designed, quick and easy.

“Having Vivian design our album was SO worth it! The hardest part was choosing which photos not to include - she took so many good ones. Vivian created a narrative with our photos, and the end result was clean and artistic. The few small changes I requested were immediately addressed and edited. Vivian's expert eye made our wedding look as beautiful as I remember it.”
