The couple chose San Francisco City Hall for their ceremony, drawn to its stunning Beaux-Arts architecture and accessible reservation system. The historic venue provided an elegant backdrop without breaking the bank. Their reception was held at the Michelin-starred Mister Jiu's Moongate Lounge, a restaurant where they had previously celebrated significant life milestones and one that held special meaning for Carrie, who was born in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Both felt a strong connection to the neighborhood and were passionate about supporting Asian-American businesses and creatives through their wedding choices.

The celebration began on fourth floor balcony of SF City Hall, where guests gathered before Larmon's brother Larkin officiated the heartfelt ceremony. Family connections were central to their day, with Larmon's relatives traveling from China for this rare reunion with Carrie surrounded by her closest friends from college, while Larmon enjoyed the company of his high school friends. After the ceremony, we took photos throughout City Hall before continuing their portrait session in Chinatown, including meaningful shots at the Portsmouth Square playground where Carrie played as a child.

The festivities continued at Mister Jiu's, where the couple changed outfits before hosting cocktail hour in the Moongate Lounge. Carrie and Larmon made sure to honor their heritage with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony paying respect to their elders. Guests enjoyed an exquisite multi-course dinner accompanied by hilarious and touching speeches and toasts, with the evening concluding sweetly over chocolate cake.
